Mission Estate Winery is celebrating 170 years of winemaking in Hawke’s Bay with a new monthly Winter Wine Tasting Series at our Cellar Door.
This is a chance to taste to grab some friends, taste different wines, new releases of old favourites, savour food matches, meet guest speakers from Hawke’s Bay’s creative world and even make your own wine.
From May until September, enjoy a series of exciting wine events.
Our second event Thursday, June 24, incorporates two of your favourite things: Chocolate and Mission Estate Wines! Hosted by amateur chocolatier and qualified wine educator Philip Morton, from our Cellar Door.
Philip and the Cellar Door team will entertain and educate with useful and memorable information.
Includes a welcome drink of bubbles, canapés, a guided wine tasting of five wine and chocolate matches. Exclusive offers will be available on the evening.
Keep an eye out for more fabulous events on the following dates:
- 2pm to 4.30pm, Sunday July 18 – Gimblett Gravels 2019 Release
- 6pm to 8pm, Thursday August 19 – HB Arts Community Guest Speaker
- 6pm to 8pm, Thursday September 16 – Blend your own Wine
Numbers strictly limited to 30 people. As this is a catered event, we will need a minimum number of people to make this experience happen.
If we do not meet the minimum requirement we may need to cancel; we will inform you 72 hours before the event and offer you the option of a full refund or transfer the ticket to a later event.
If you cannot attend, please let us know 72 hours prior, otherwise the full fee will be charged.
