Mission Estate Winery is celebrating 170 years of winemaking in Hawke’s Bay with a new monthly Winter Wine Tasting Series at our Cellar Door.
This is a chance to grab some friends, taste different wines, new releases of old favourites, savour food matches, meet guest speakers from Hawke’s Bay’s creative world and even make your own wine.
From May until September, enjoy a series of exciting wine events.
For our fourth event, we welcome guest speaker and renowned Hawke’s Bay Artist Freeman White speaking about ‘Plein Air’ or ‘onsite’ painting in Aotearoa. Freeman will go through the process and inspiration for this unique painting style.
This will be followed by the tasting, a flight of six wines, exploring the variety of styles from Mission Vineyards.
Numbers strictly limited to 30 people. As this is a catered event, we will need a minimum number of people to make this experience happen.
If we do not meet the minimum requirement we may need to cancel; we will inform you 72 hours before the event and offer you the option of a full refund or transfer the ticket to a later event.
If you cannot attend, please let us know 72 hours prior, otherwise the full fee will be charged.
NB: You must be over 18 to take part in the wine tasting.
