Mission Estate is committed to protecting your privacy. We have systems in place to provide you with services and information tailored to your individual needs while complying with our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020 (Privacy Act).
The Services are intended for use by people located in New Zealand and are not intended for use by anyone located outside of New Zealand.

Collection of personal information and your privacy
From time to time, we may collect or request personal information from you while providing you, or by you using or accessing our Services. Personal information is any information about you that identifies you, or by which your identity can reasonably be ascertained.
The type of personal information we may collect whilst you access our Services includes your name and postal or delivery address, email address, phone number and any other information that we may request.

In providing you with, or by you using the Services, we may sometimes need to disclose your personal information to others. By using one or all of the Services you agree that we may disclose your personal information for any of the purposes listed in the in the above section to:
- Mission and its staff;
- Mission Concert Club and its staff;
- Any relevant third party that offers goods or services that we think may be of interest to you (for example, wine promotions);
- A third party outside of Mission who is contracted to us to provide a particular service to you on our behalf;
- A third party outside of Mission who is contracted to us to provide a particular service to us;
- To our appointed payment provider to process your payments for purchases; and
- Third parties when we believe in good faith that we are required to do so by law.
You consent to the disclosure of your personal information to the parties listed above.
A cookie is a short piece of data that is sent from a web server to a web browser on the user’s machine when the browser visits the server’s site. The cookie is stored on the user’s machine, but it is not an executable program and cannot do anything to your machine. Whenever a web browser requests a file from the same web server that sent the cookie, the browser sends a copy of that cookie back to the server along with the request. In this way, the server knows you have visited before and can co-ordinate your access to different pages on its website. 5. Clickstream Data
Clickstreams are paths a user takes when navigating a web page or the internet in general. When you visit our website, our Internet Service Provider makes a record of your visit and logs the following information for statistical purposes – the user’s assigned IP address, the user’s top level domain name (for example .co.nz, .gov, .com.au, .uk etc), the data and time and duration of visit to the site, and the type of browser and operating system used.
6. Direct Marketing
When you register to receive marketing communications from us, your name and contact details will be added to our database and you consent to receiving messages from us by email, text message or physical mail.
All commercial electronic messages from us contains an unsubscribe function if you no longer want to receive commercial electronic messages from us. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in the email you have received from us.
7. Security of Personal Information
Security of personal information is very important to us and we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure, However, you acknowledge that security of the transmission of data over the internet can never be guaranteed. It is your sole responsibility to protect access to any emails you receive from us that provide access to your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mission will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage or loss if any third party gains unauthorized access to your information.
8. Accessing, correcting and updating personal information
Your personal information will be held by Mission, and by Mission’s trusted data services providers. Under the privacy act you have the right to access your personal information we hold, and to have that information corrected and/or updated.
