The Mission Rewards Programme is a membership programme offered by Mission Estate Winery (Mission Estate Winery, we) to Mission Rewards Members (Member, you).
By applying for Mission Rewards Membership, you agree to these terms and conditions (Terms), which govern your membership to the Mission Rewards Programme.
Membership of the Mission Rewards Programme is not interchangeable with membership of any other programme or club.
We draw your attention to the following important provisions:
You must notify us promptly if you change your address or contact details.
You must keep your Membership number and your username and password details for your online Mission Rewards Membership Account secure.
You must login to your account, or present and quote your Mission Rewards number at our Cellar Door when make a Qualifying Purchase so that we can accrue Credit to your Mission Wallet and Status Points to your Account.
You must not allow any other person to use your Mission Rewards number to try to earn Mission Rewards, Credit or Status Points on your Account and you must not use any other person’s Mission Rewards number to earn Mission Rewards or Status Points on their Account, to do so would be engaging in fraud.
You must comply with the relevant terms and conditions applicable to any Mission Rewards Member Benefit you wish to redeem.
Mission Rewards Credit are not convertible into Cash in any circumstances.
You must not sell, assign or transfer Mission Rewards Credit, Status Points or any Mission Rewards Member Benefit to any other person for Cash or any other form of consideration.
You acknowledge and agree that by providing us with your email address we may send you commercial electronic messages including but not limited to Mission Rewards Programme communications, Mission Rewards communications and Special Offers.
You may unsubscribe to our emails at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe link’ in our emails.
It is your responsibility to keep your Account updated with your current email address.
Membership of the Mission Rewards Programme is personal to the Mission Rewards Member and is not transferable to any other person.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any application for Mission Rewards Membership. If your application is declined, we will inform you in writing.
Your Mission Rewards Membership will remain current until such time as it is terminated by either you or Mission Estate Winery pursuant to the termination provisions in paragraph 16.
Following the date that we become aware of the death of a Mission Rewards Member, the deceased Member’s Mission Rewards Account, Status Points, and all other Mission Rewards Member Benefits will be cancelled and become invalid. If we receive a written request by the executor of a Mission Rewards Member’s estate to transfer the deceased Mission Rewards Member’s current Mission Rewards Credit balance (but not their Status Points) to the Mission Rewards accounts of the beneficiaries of the Mission Rewards Member’s estate, we will do so if we are satisfied that the request is valid and lawful and if the request is made within 2 years of the death of the Mission Rewards Member.
Credit is shown in New Zealand Dollars – as are all products and services within our online shop.
Mission Rewards Members can earn Mission Rewards Credit and Status Points to redeem Rewards and enjoy a range of Mission Rewards Member benefits.

We may change and update the Mission Rewards Member benefits from time to time. Visit the Mission Rewards Benefits section of our website for information about our current Mission Rewards Member benefits.
Mission Rewards Members may earn Mission Rewards Credit and Status Points on Qualifying Purchases.
To earn Mission Rewards Credit and Status Points, you must quote your Mission Rewards Account number at the time of making a making a Qualifying Purchase at our Cellar Door or be logged into your account online before making the Qualifying Purchase.
Points or credit cannot be added to your account after the purchase has been made.
You may earn Mission Rewards Credit and Status points by making Qualifying Purchases with Mission Estate Cellar Door or from our online shop at missionestate.co.nz
We may at our discretion vary the range and type of Qualifying Purchases. Purchases of Restaurant Vouchers, Farmhouse Accommodation or purchases made at Mission Restaurant do not qualify for Mission Rewards Credit or Status Points.
Your Mission Rewards Credit will remain valid for three years from the date they were accrued to your Account. Following three years from accrual, the Mission Rewards Credit will expire and be removed from your Account on the anniversary of the day they were earned.
We endeavour to notify you by email prior to expiration of any Mission Rewards Credit, however we hold no responsibility if, for whatever reason this email notification does not get sent, or, if it is not received by the Member for any reason.
You may use your Mission Rewards Credit to make purchases at our Cellar Door in person or via our online shop at missionestate.co.nz.
At our discretion we may change what is available for purchase using Mission Rewards Credit.
The following requirements apply to all Rewards:
We do not guarantee that any of the Rewards will be available at any time and we reserve the right to withdraw, cancel, change or suspend any of the Rewards we offer or advertise. We are not liable for any loss, expense, or damage any Member suffers as a result of such withdrawal, cancellation, suspension or change.
Mission Rewards Members earn Status Points on certain Qualifying Purchases. Mission Rewards Members may not share or transfer their Status Points to any other person.
We may vary the Status Points earning rates from time to time, acting reasonably.
Status Points are used to determine if a Mission Rewards Member qualifies for Platinum, Gold or Silver Tier Status. You will qualify for Platinum, Gold or Silver Tier Status if you meet our Tier Status requirements published on our website. We may vary the requirements for achieving Tier Status from time to time, acting reasonably. If we do so we will publish the new requirements on our website and we will also notify Members of any material changes to these requirements.
Mission Rewards Members with Platinum, Gold or Silver Tier Status are entitled to certain Benefits, which we may vary from time to time. Visit our website for a list of current tier benefits
Your Platinum, Gold or Silver Tier Status will be valid for a 12-month period starting from the date your Tier Status becomes effective. However, if during the 12 month period, you qualify for a higher Tier Status, we will promptly change your Tier Status to the higher Tier Status. Your new higher Tier Status will then be valid for 12 months. The lower Tier Status Benefits will be expired from your Account and the higher Tier Status Benefits applied.
We will review your eligibility for qualification or re-qualification of Tier Status at the end of every 12-month qualification / re-qualification period.
If you breach any of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend your Tier Status for a period that we consider reasonable without any compensation to you.
Any notice given by us to you pursuant to these Terms and will be deemed to have been given and received by you if we email the notice to you at the email address shown on your Membership Account.
As our primary means of contact with you, it is your responsibility to always maintain an up-to-date email address on your account. Mission Estate Winery will not be held accountable for notifications going to out of date or expired email addresses.
We may make changes to these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update these Terms on our website. We will also specify the date of the last update.
The changes we may make to these Terms include but are not limited to changing: the requirements relating to Tier Status and the types of Tier Status; the Mission Rewards Member Benefits; the Mission Rewards Credit and Status Points earning rates; the redemption rates for Rewards and the qualifying purchases. For example, we may vary the products or services which can be used to earn Mission Rewards Credit.
You may terminate your Mission Rewards Membership at any time online.
If a Mission Rewards Membership is terminated by either the Mission Rewards Member or by us (other than due to death of the Mission Rewards Member), any Mission Rewards Credit and Status Points Credit the Mission Rewards Member has earned but not redeemed prior to termination will be forfeited with no compensation.
Mission Rewards Membership will automatically terminate on the death or bankruptcy of a Mission Rewards Member.
Your Mission Rewards Account may not have a negative Mission Rewards Credit balance but if it does, it may be closed without notice.
Mission Estate Winery may terminate or suspend your Mission Rewards Membership or cancel or suspend your right to access to Mission Rewards Membership Benefits by notice in writing if we reasonably believe that you have:
If we decide to discontinue the Mission Rewards Programme we may terminate your Mission Rewards Membership by giving you 1 month written notice.
If we cease to operate, we may terminate Mission Rewards Membership any time without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mission Estate Winery makes no warranties (express or implied), and makes no representations with respect to:

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and to the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Mission Estate Winery will have no liability (in negligence, tort, breach of contract, or otherwise) for any loss or damage (including direct or indirect loss, or special or consequential loss or damage) arising out of or in connection with:

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. You and Mission Estate Winery consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand in connection with any legal action that may arise in relation to these Terms, your Mission Rewards Membership and/or the Mission Rewards Programme.
If you reside in New Zealand you must be above the age of 18 to join Mission Rewards Programme as this is the legal age required to purchase alcohol in New Zealand.
If any term or provision of these Terms is held to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable it will be severed from the Terms without affecting the legality, validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Additional information about the Mission Rewards Programme may be found on the Mission Estate Winery website. To the extent of any inconsistency, these Terms, as amended from time to time, shall prevail.
We reserve the right to audit each Mission Rewards Account. We reserve the right to amend, debit and correct the Mission Rewards Credit and/or Status Point balance in a Mission Rewards Account if we identify any inaccuracy (due to our mistake or otherwise), or if we identify that the Qualifying Purchase was not paid for in full.
We reserve the right to audit your Account and Mission Rewards Membership.
We reserve the right to adjust the Mission Rewards Credit and Status Points balance in your Account if we identify any inaccuracy.

The terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the following meanings:
Account or Mission Rewards Account means the record maintained online that you may access as a registered user of our website with your Mission Rewards login and password to view your Mission Rewards balance details.
The records include the Member Details, Mission Rewards credit earned through Qualifying Purchases, the Mission Rewards credit deducted following the redemption of your Mission Rewards credit for Qualifying Purchases, the Status Points earned and current Tier Status.
Mission Rewards Programme means the customer loyalty programme for Mission Rewards Members operated by Mission Estate Winery in accordance with these Terms.
Mission Estate Winery, MEW, we and us means Mission Estate Winery, which is the trading name for Marist Holdings (Greenmeadows) Ltd.
Mission Wallet is where your credit is stored within your Account.
Mission Wallet Credit means the credit earned through your qualifying purchases that can be redeemed at a later date, stored within your Account.
Mission Rewards Member Benefit means Rewards, Tier Status Benefits, Credit in you Mission Wallet and the various other benefits associated with your participation in the Mission Rewards Programme that we may change and update from time to time.
Qualifying Purchases means purchases of products or services from our on-line shop at https://missionestate.co.nz/buy-mission-estate-wines/ or at Mission Cellar Door. Neither Mission Restaurant Vouchers, Farmhouse Accommodation nor any purchases made from Mission Restaurant are eligible, other items may not qualify at our discretion.
Member, you and your means a person who has joined the Mission Rewards Programme
Membership Year means each 12-month period commencing on the day you joined (or the annual anniversary of the day you joined) the Mission Rewards Programme.
Reward means any benefits, services, goods and facilities that we may offer you once your status level has been reached. Rewards are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Status Points means the points that we award you in accordance to determine if you are eligible to qualify or requalify for Platinum, Gold or Silver Tier Status.
Terms means these terms and conditions between Marist Holdings (Greenmeadows) Ltd and you, which govern membership to the Mission Rewards Programme, as may be updated from time to time.
Tier Status means Platinum, Gold or Silver Tier Status in accordance with these Terms.
Tier Status Benefits means the various benefits and privileges that may be available to Platinum, Gold and Silver Tier Status Members in accordance with these Terms, and as published on our website and updated from time to time.
